Venting & Reflux
The LAUREATE® System operates instantaneously to your commands providing precise control of venting and reflux resulting in increased fluidic confidence.
Low-Compliance Design
The LAUREATE®'s molded (rigid) fluidic paths provide decreased infusion resistance and improved aspiration compliance. This gives increased fluidic responsiveness, faster rise times and improved followability, which make more efficient use of ultrasonic energy and surgeon time during cataract removal.*
Optical Pressure Sensor
The LAUREATE® System features a new, non-invasive optical vacuum sensing pressure sensor which provides precise control of vacuum and venting. The LAUREATE® automatically recognizes and individually calibrates each cassette for optimal performance.
High-Performance Pump
The LAUREATE® high-performance pump features tapered rollers designed for instantaneous and smooth peristaltic response. Additionally, the LAUREATE® pump provides high capacity, with forward and reverse actuation, meeting the demands of all flow rate and vacuum settings.
